Mountain Chutes Christmas Bird Count Results

This count circle takes in the town of Elk Lake, portion of Highway 560 to about 2km past the South EMU Road (about 5km west of the Long Lake access point), Highway 65 from Elk Lake to just west of Indian Bay Road, and, in the winters when it is driveable on count day, Cooke Lake Road to the first main junction south of Cooke Lake.  All side roads are surveyed if driveable. For a map of the Mountain Chutes count circle, click HERE.
