The following is a list of major or significant updates to the site. Many small changes and enhancements are added regularly, and corrections are performed as needed. These smaller changes are not reflected in the list below. This list is in reverse chronological order, with the most recent changes listed first.
December 30, 2009. Reviewed and revised species abundance codes, altered structure of species account pages, posted CBC results.
December 21, 2009. Made changes to the checklist and species accounts to comply with 50th supplement to the A.O.U. checklist.
April 4, 2009 Added content to the Banding page and began adding banding data to individual species accounts.
October 25, 2008 Added the official French common names to all species on the species checklist. Arrival and departure dates for migrating species were removed from the main checklist, and will be added into the individual species pages in the coming months.
January 28, 2008, Reorganized the web structure to accommodate other surveys other than just the Audubon CBC, including the unofficial Christmas Bird Count of the Kirkland Lake Nature Club, Breeding Bird Surveys, and Marsh Monitoring Program results.
January 3, 2008 Mountain Chutes CBC results added; many additions of historical observations in species accounts, including observations supporting 5 species additions to our checklist that were pending documentation.
December 9, 2007 Updated several species accounts and photos, added a master references page for sources of information used in the "General Notes" sections of the species pages.
November 23, 2007 Posted all species observations for Timiskaming accepted by the Ontario Bird Records Commitee (OBRC)
November 17, 2007 Photos for 83 species posted.
November 15, 2007 Formatting and hyperlink glitches were repaired.
October 29, 2007 This site was made "live".
